Online sellers and grey-market sources have flooded India with counterfeit semaglutide. Here's how to spot it.

Price too good to be true

Real Ozempic in India retails ₹7,000–₹15,000 per month. If someone offers it for ₹2,500 or ₹3,500, that's not a discount — it's a different product.

Packaging giveaways

Legitimate Novo Nordisk pens have a hologram, batch number, expiry date, and serial. Compare against a photo of a genuine pen. Watch for misspellings, blurry print, or missing manufacture details.

Pharmacy provenance

Verify the pharmacy is licensed under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940. ZIVOLABS works only with CDSCO-licensed pharmacies; receipts include the dispensing pharmacist's name and licence.

Why this isn't paranoid

Two confirmed deaths in India in 2025 from contaminated grey-market semaglutide. The risk is real.
