Power outages — keeping the pen cold

Indian summer + 2-hour power cut = warm fridge. Plan for it.

Short outage (under 4 hours)

Keep fridge door closed; internal temperature stays safe. No action needed.

Longer outage

Move the pen to a small insulated cooler with 1–2 frozen gel packs (separated from pen by a cloth). Maintains 2–8°C for 24+ hours.

Worst case

Sustained heat > 30°C for more than a day — assume the pen is compromised. Message us; we'll replace it under our cold-chain guarantee.
