Occasional in the first week. Persistent is not. Here's the line between adjustment and a problem.
Mild and self-limiting
One or two episodes in week 1 after the first dose, gone the next day. Manage with bland food and hydration.
Concerning
Multiple episodes per day, can't keep fluids down, light-headed when standing. Stop the next dose, message us — we'll prescribe ondansetron and probably hold your current dose for 4 more weeks before stepping up.
Stop and seek care
Vomiting with severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood, signs of dehydration (very dark urine, weakness, confusion). Same-day medical attention required.
